As of March 2004, Daehan Printing & Publishing
has published up to 699 textbooks compiled by the state,
125 state-authorized textbooks, and 63 state-acknowledged
textbooks. It has a circulation of about 220 million books.

forerunner in textbook publishing.
The textbooks - guiders of profound education
Having started with only 18 textbooks in 10 categories
in 1949, Daehan Printing & Publishing has since grown
to publish and distribute textbooks and study materials
in elementary, middle and high schools, and has become
the top textbook publishing company in Korea.
* Currently, 150 editors and 30 designers who have worked
in the industry for about 10 years are at the core of
the company's know-how. The company has also founded two
research centers for design and textbooks through which
it develops and promotes new materials.

for the rapidly changing demands of the 21st century.
The experience of publishing 18 textbooks in 10 categories
in 1949 helped Daehan Printing & Publishing become the
largest educational publishing company.
Even during the Korean War, Daehan Printing & Publishing
continued to make textbooks in wartime, doing so out of
the belief that educating the next generation should not
be postponed. The vocational textbooks that the company
consistently published also became part of the country's
foundation for economic development in the 1960s to 1970s.
The company is also well-known for being the best publisher
that keeps the rules of Korean orthography and word spacing
especially in publishing textbooks that are included in
the sacred literature of the Korean people. Our sole pride
is in developing an immaculate textbook and management
system with organized and systemic distribution channels
that covers the whole country in textbook supply.
Elementary school textbooks
Daehan Printing & Publishing publishes a total of 212 books in 130 categories. In a spacious 73,000 pyong plottage, the company's Jochiwon factory produces elementary school textbooks in its fully automated production line. With the highest quality textbooks, our children can cultivate their dreams for the future.
Middle school textbooks
Daehan Printing & Publishing publishes 38 state-authorized textbooks in 19 categories including those in <English>, <Mathematics> and <Social Science>. This is the top figure among the circulating 60 textbook publishing companies. It is the fruit of our continuous effort to make better textbooks with more specialized content.
High school textbooks
Currently publishing 87 state-authorized
textbooks in 55 categories including <Korean>, <Mathematics>, and <Social Science>, Daehan Printing & Publishing recently developed and published textbooks in diverse categories like <Ecology & Environments> and <NIE Reading Newspapers, Reading the World>, which are receiving rave reviews from customers and institutions. Furthermore, the company takes the initiative to push the country's education forward by developing 14 categories of middle and high school electronic textbooks (CD-ROM).
